Lanesborough Hotel

The Lanesborough Royal Suite

The Lanesborough is one of London’s top luxury hotels and with the majestic Royal Suite it offers what is likely to be the single most expensive set of rooms in London. With prices starting from £10,000 for a night, they clearly mean it when they say that this particular suite is intended for royalty and heads of state. The 270 square metre suite has floor to ceiling triple glazed windows that offer panoramic views of Buckingham Palace Gardens, Hyde Park and St. James’ Park. There are three bedrooms, each with an antique four poster bed and cream moire silk wall coverings, a dining area with a mahogany table for twelve, a study room bedecked with rich burgundy furnishings, a living room, a spa bath with a separate steam shower and a fully fitted kitchen. Slightly less astronomically priced suites are available; the style is luxurious Regency throughout the hotel and the amenities, as you would expect, are first class. View Hotel

Soho Hotel

Soho Hotel Terrace Suite

As one of the Firmdale Group’s key London hotels, the Soho has all the luxury, style and wit that you would expect from a Kit Kemp interior design. All of the rooms have a cheerful and optimistic look, celebrating English style with a selection of bold colours and contrasting patterns and fabrics, as well as distinctive one-off pieces. The Terrace Suite is no exception, and is one of the most spacious set of rooms available in this lively part of central London. With a large drawing room and a wrap around balcony, it adds luxury and airiness to the Soho Hotel’s unique aesthetic. There is also plenty of art on display throughout the Soho Hotel; the 10 foot sculpture of a cat by Fernando Botero in the lobby is literally unmissable. View Hotel

The design is all black and white, clean lines and sharp edges throughout. Sleek, smooth and entirely uncompromising, the La Suite West offers an unforgettable boutique hotel experience. Rooms include individually crafted beds, black rubber furniture and neat Asian-inspired touches, such as the black wood shutters that can be found in the Inverness Terrace Suite.
